Until January 2020, I was Director of Writing Workshops Los Angeles, a private writing school for the brave, enthusiastic, and talented. Now I’m working as Library Communication Coordinator at the California Institute of Technology after leaving my position as Lecturer in Writing at the university after fifteen years. I received my Ph.D. in English from the City University of New York Graduate Center, and I've worked as a writing instructor for several universities in New York and Los Angeles, including Loyola Marymount University, Brooklyn College (CUNY), and the Polytechnic Institute of New York University.
